The SpaceX Ax-4 Delayed
The launch of SpaceX’s Axiom space mission to the International Space Station (ISS) has been delayed until June 11th because of poor weather. The Ax-4 mission is scheduled to lift off from Cape Canaveral, Florida. The crew includes Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, who is an important figure for India as it marks the first return of an Indian astronaut to space since 1984. The crew will spend 2 weeks on the ISS and will conduct over 60 science experiments that focus on biology, human research, and Earth observation.
Private Japanese Lunar Crash
A lunar lander, whose name was Resilience, from Japan, made by an independent company, crashed on Friday(6/6/25) when trying to land on the moon. This was the second attempt by Japan to land on the moon. NASA, earlier this year, had a successful moon landing attempt with its Firefly machine.

California Sues President Donald Trump
In Los Angeles, California, a protest was held due to immigration issues. These protests came with lots of violence, including freeways being blocked, stores being raided, and cars being set on fire. President Donald Trump directed 2000 California National Guard troops to deploy to Los Angeles and assist in resolving the protests without California Governor Gavin Newsom’s consent. This deployment has increased the amount of tensions between the president and the state of California, which is the biggest population wise in the country. Gavin Newsom believes that Trump’s action went behind Gavin Newsom’s back, being that Newsom is the commander in chief of the California national Guard.
Texas News Station Destroyed by Storms on June 9
After a chaotic 24 hours of terrible weather, including heavy rain, hail, and lightning all across the western central part of Texas, KTXS, a news station, was partially destroyed. The wind was said to have reached 60 to 80 miles per hour. In parts of Texas, many tornadoes have been spotted, which have wreaked havoc on Texans.
